一代圣賢老子騎著青牛攜紫氣東來

Laozi, the Taoist sage, rode on a water buffalo heading to the west.

Water benefits all things

順自然而不爭

and does not compete with them.

懂得謙卑

It has the wisdom of being humble.

車輪中間是空的

Wheels are empty in the middle,??

才讓我們擁有了速度

which enables us to pace up and?

來去自如

shuttle freely.

一個杯子

A cup,

一扇門窗

a window, or a door.

都是因為有了無的部分

It is from their not-being,

才有了空間

empty space,

有給了我們利

arises the utility.

無給了我們用

By the non-existence of things, we are served.

能屈才能伸?

To be bent is to become straight.

就像這洼地

To be hollow

雖然低 卻可以裝滿水

is to be filled.

強取豪奪只能產生困惑

To have plenty is to be confused.

我們不爭 反而可以收獲寬容

He who does not care to contend would find tolerance in mind.

宇宙無邊無際

In the boundless universe,

人在其中

man models himself?

我們敬畏天地?

after heaven and earth.

想要走的更遠??

To go further,

需要找到正確的方法

one needs to take the right path.

那就是遵循自然萬物的規律

That is to follow the laws of the universe?

本該如此

as it should be.

應然或實然

From “should be” to “it is”,

偶然到必然

From “accidental” to “inevitable”,

從無到有

From “have not” to “have”,

正反兩面

From positive to negative,

陰陽交替

From yin to yang,

我們追求真理 就像向往光明

We yearn for the truth just as we aspire to the brightness.

我們面對的一切都在變化中

We face everything in the change.

卻從不拒絕變化

However we never resist alteration.

我們在變化中追求和諧

Rather, we seek harmony in it.

(《道德經》第六十三章)女：

(Tao Te Ching, Chapter 63)

大事兒全是由小事兒積累起來的

All the great problems is accumulated from the small ones.

我們要把小事兒當作大事兒干

Deal with the big while yet it is small.

一步一個腳印向前走

One step at a time，

在細微之處成就大事

we accomplish the great from the small.

道 是看不見的

Tao can not be seen.

像風

It’s like wind?

風 大象無形 但力量無窮

which has no shape or form yet poses great power.

女：

像舞?

It’s like dances.

形體的氣韻 卻給人以精神的鼓舞

The rhythm of which lifts spirits.

男女合：

一陰一陽謂之道

Yin and Yang constitute what is called Tao.

中國文化講究的是兩者相輔相成

Chinese culture is about complementarity and?

追求的是共贏

win-win results.

Laozi wrote the Tao Te Ching,

倡導自然、平等

promoting nature and equality.

我們仍在領悟“道”

We are stilling trying to understand Tao and?

人類 雖然曾經朝著不同的方向出發

Humans, despite that we may move in different directions,?

卻始終在同一片天地之間

live on the same planet.

正如河流一樣

Just as rivers.

黃河長江的水滴?

Drops of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River?

將與來自尼羅河、印度河、恒河、密西西比河、亞馬遜河、萊茵河、多瑙河、伏爾加河……

will converge with those from the Nile, the Indus, the Ganges, the Mississippi, the Amazon, the Rhine, the Danube, the Volga ......

各處的水滴終將在本就不分的海洋中匯聚在一起

into the ocean,?

難分彼此
